Baltimore Technology Park to Showcase Latest Expansion of Data Center During Open House

Baltimore Technology Park Debuts Multi- Million Dollar Data Center Expansion to Satisfy Growing Computer System IT Infrastructure Needs For Maryland Area Organizations

BALTIMORE, MD – Today, Baltimore Technology Park (BTP) announced it will host an Open House on Wednesday, September 15, to celebrate the completion of its multi-million dollar expansion. During the event, BTP will provide private tours of its state-of-the-art data center to clients, prospects and other guests. Other highlights will include informative partner exhibits.

The expansion creates more available space for BTP to serve companies, universities and non-profit organizations seeking a reliable partner to house their IT infrastructure. Baltimore Technology Park's capabilities and in-house expertise eliminate the need for organizations to build and operate their own costly data centers. The center was designed to meet the most stringent power, cooling and bandwidth requirements.

Baltimore Technology Park has made several enhancements to its state-of-the-art, 30,000 square foot single-use, fully redundant enterprise data center, such as increased utility capacity, protected power options and overall cooling capabilities. The data center allows organizations to bring in their own IT equipment, run it on a raised floor, temperature-controlled, highly-secured environment, on a carrier-neutral fiber network, and still have their own IT professionals service the equipment if desired.
